- This cafe is based on the “Yoshihiko Iida Architectural Studio” on the 2nd floor. The cafe has about 4000 books on architecture and art. You can read freely with one drink. In the wake of the Great East Japan Earthquake, Mr. Iida, who is also a famous architect, has been searching for ways to create a community and office. The cafe opened in 2012 with the aim of becoming “an architectural firm open to the city”. Centered around the cafe, events such as movies, lectures, yoga, and book readings are held, and communities are spun out of the small cafe. It’s the perfect place to spend time feeling the atmosphere of the city.
