Toyama Glass Studio is a creative hub that bridges technology and education, industry, and culture. It also serves as support center for glass artists. Visitors can watch artists engaged in the actual production process, and a variety of glass artworks are on display in the gallery and shop.


TOYAMA Pale Pink


  • White shrimp is a rare delicacy that can only be caught in the deep waters of Toyama Bay’s Iwase. Its translucent, delicate light pink color is a shimmering testament to the life nurtured by the deep sea. If you would like a taste of white shrimp, visit the renowned Iso Cuisine Shogetsu, established in 1911. There, you can enjoy white shrimp sashimi and deep-fried white shrimp, as well as an innovative dish called fuku dango, which features 200 of these delicate shrimp formed into balls and grilled.
